In the lodge, which type of room has the better view from the main room? Thanks.
You want a western-facing window. From the cabins, on a clear day at sunset, you can see the Tetons. The views overall are not great because you are in a densely wooded area.
The best view is from the room we stayed in which is the top floor left end suite. It has it's own balcony but the only good view is at sunset with the sunset skies glowing through the trees as you face towards the Tetons. Not a lot to see at the lodge as far as good views but a great place to stay.
The lodge is in a forest so there is no view of the tetons. I'm not sure but the rooms upstairs inside the lodge may have a view of mountains the other direction. As soon as you start west on the road there are incredible views of the tetons.
