do you mean the hotel? It is an upscale hotel and everyone dressed in 'smart casual' clothes. I did see some folks in shorts at breakfast but you should realize that Europeans in general don't wear shorts anywhere, especially restaurants. This goes for the hotel and outside - except for the beautiful beaches
While the dining room is right by the pool, one is not to dine in a bathing suit. If he/she is poolside or at the swim-up bar, then go for it! Just a bit of basic etiquitte, European style eating with dining room open around the same as in the US, maybe a tad later. We always dressed for dinner.
Breakfast and lunch are very casual, but everyone I saw was always "nice" nothing really that seemed to push the line. Dinner was a bit more formal, and I mean just a bit more. For the restaurant on the beach, attached to the bar, you are expected to be in beach wear.
Most men are wearing dressy shorts or slacks and a nice shirt at dinner. Ladies typically wear a summer dress. Their dress code says “no shorts” but it isn’t strictly followed. Use it as your opportunity to clean up after a fun day and wear your nice “resort wear” for dinner.
