if you don't want to ski, what is there to do if we come up there tomorrow?
I would recommend calling the resort as it is always in their best interest to let you know what is going on!! So give the resort a call
The resort is beautiful - we went primarily to ski. Olympic history is probably well documented and worth looking into.
You can ride the gondola to the top and have lunch.
If the wind is alright, you can load the Allen Peak Tram cabin and take some amazing pictures.
How you get there?
From the base area, take the John Paul lift and ride up to the top, then walk to the stairs and you´ll find operators that can help you take the Allen Peak.
You can take the cabin the way down if you don´t ski.
You won't regret at all!
The view from the top of the Tram is definitely magical.
Noticed some people walking in the area . There is also a good sports shop and lovely restaurant too
Inside the base lodge there are a memorabilia display of medals etc to Snowsport athletes as it is a USA Training Camp .
I assume you can get a single ticket ride to the top of the Needles where you get great views of the surrounding area
I know from one view area you can see the Salt Lake and SLC
Hope this helps
