Planning an Arboretum visit..is there a Cafe onsite? Restaurant recommendations near the Arboretum? Thanks!
While there are food options inside the garden there are some great restaurantsaround too! Smokey Rose is a new BBQ joint that’s off to a great start, Barbec’s is an amazing local diner with biscuits and gravy that are not to be missed, then, a short drive up the road there’s Carne Russo an excellent pizzeria next to On Rotation, a bar that samples some of the best beers around and is BYOF, lastly, around the corner is Good Friends beer garden. Have so much fun on your trip to Dallas!
Honestly, there are better restaurants downtown or in uptown. I would skip nearby restaurants, personally.
Yes, there is a cafe at the arboretum . It had some basics. Honestly, I didn't look over the menu because we just stopped for Root Beer Floats. But I think they had hot dogs and maybe fries. Note that it closed early. I think the windows rolled up by 3 or 4, so plan around that!
Yes. There are options within the gardens.
There are restaurants onsite as well as a cafe. There are also good restaurants nearby.
We ate at the nearby VFW hall. They did have food onsite
Looks as though there are several options for this....
Café on the Green features casual outdoor dining. Weather permitting, open Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and Saturday & Sunday 10:30 a.m to 4:00 p.m.
Restaurant DeGolyer: Open daily from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. This is inside the historic DeGolyer House.
Canopy Cafe: Grab a quick bite to eat along the Paseo throughout the year. Food options and dining areas are located throughout the Arboretum to provide flexibility for your meal experience.
Visitors are also invited to order food to-go and picnic anywhere on the grounds (except in restaurants).
Yes, they have a restaurant and other cafe's on site.
Yes they have some food there but I recommend the Smoky Rose which is just a block away.
