Llandudno, United Kingdom

Hello, my boyfriend and I are visiting you for lunch on Saturday and are hoping to go for a walk either before or afterwards. Is there anywhere nearby you could recommend to go for a walk?

Thanks in advance

The oyster catcher is on the edge of the dunes. A walk over brings you to the beach /walk in both direction. One takes you o near village. You can then return along Road. Alternately across road from the restaurant on e can walk to and around the lake.

Indeed AND you can go along beach the other way, turn off at ancient burial mounds, come back along road and pick up path around nearby lake- very nice - and return. Look up idea on google maps or OS map . You can make walk as long or short as you wish Beach plus lake is about 5 / 6 miles.

Hope sun shines!

The sand dunes are opposite and although I didn't get the chance to explore them it would be great to discover what was on the other side, no doubt more fabulous views.

Hi yes the sandhills to Broadbeach which is immediately behind the fab restaurant. I'm sure a wander before eating amongst the nature here will give you a hearty appetite. And if you desire a wander after dining the walk along the beach to Rhosneigr and back would be a perfect way to round off your Saturday outing and allow the delicious food to digest nicely.

The answer above says it all. In the bar downstairs, there is a card with details of the walk explained.

Hi. Yes perfect for a walk. Park your car in front of the Oyster Catcher then walk through the sand dunes on to the beach. When on the beach with the sea in front of you turn right walk along the beach towards Rhosneigr village. It is a lovely walk you have a look around the village then back along the beach for your lunch or if you have already had your lunch you can have a coffee downstairs at the Oyster Catcher. Enjoy your day.
