Walk to castle at low tide, how long does it take? Does it slippery and do we need wellies? I'm planning to just wear trainers if it's ok, but really want to experience the feeling of walk out at low tide. Thanks!
Trainers will be OK,it is slippery if seaweed is on the walkway but you can walk on the sand and depends on how fast you want to take it but no more than 15 minutes on a slow pace
Trainers will be fine and it shouldn't take more than 15-20 mins.
Trainers would be perfect, something with non-slip outsole because if it's wet and you walk on seaweed, you never know. Generally on a dry sunny day trainers are perfect and it takes no more than 10 min. to walk there. On a rainy day, small wellies are good as the sand can get sticky and a bit muddy on the sides but as long as you walk on the rock path you're fine.
Trainers are good as there is a walkway and it should take about 15minutes to walk. Getting the "Duck" boat/wagon is also an experience when the tide is in. It has wheels and is also a boat.
Hi it will take around 20-30 minutes depending on how quick you walk. trainers will be fine at low tide
Hi, it looked like a 15 to 20 minute walk. There is a road/ path used by the amphibious vehicles and pedestrians so trainers will be fine. You can walk out and ride back if you change your mind..great views from the castle worth the visit.
Trainers are great!
Hi Trainers are fine and it's well worth walking .
Trainers would b fine easy walk 15 mins
From the beach to the castle it is 1 mile. I have not walked it so cant say how long it would take.
When the tide is out it is packed sand and there is a wooden type track. Trainers or flip flops should be fine. If not try the amphibian. Fun either way!
