I am spending 8 days in New Orleans and would really like to take an Airboat tour, but looking at the map it looks as if it's 45 minutes out of downtown. Could anyone advise the best way to get there
The cheapest option is a rental car. You have it for the whole day and you can explore at your leisure. We do have several services that can pick you up on a round trip. They will wait for you. If you decide to do Uber/Lift, make sure that they will be back to pick you up. Just call us for transportation info.
To my knowledge, they don't offer a bus service. It's pretty much a mom and pop shop. We rented a car when we went which was fun because it allowed us to visit some of the nearby plantations before our tour, (Oak Alley is about 20-30 minutes away from the Airboats.) Whatever way you get there it'll be worth it. It's awesome!
I called and they gave me 2 names for transportation.
504-810-4756 is their direct number.
Joyce or Rick are 2 reliable means of transportation. Once your in town give the tour a call to make reservations and ask for Joyce or Ricks number.
Have a great holiday!!
Hi Donna, that would be great if you could help as I didn't want the expense of hiring a car. Tried to give you a helpful vote but hit the wrong button. Louise
