I suggest buying the tickets online so you can avoid the line. The line was over an hour the day I tried to go and I gave up and went home, as it was raining. I went into the bottom floor bookstore and it was so crowded that it was not enjoyable.
You do not need t buy in advance but it may avoid waiting in line. Typically, the lines are not that long. It is set in an area of St Pete where there is so much to do within walking distance...Enjoy
No, only for special exibitions
I don't think it is necessary to buy them in advance. We were there the week before Easter and bought our tickets when we arrived at the gallery.
no but it is easier if you have advanced tickets-the line is shorter
No we got tickets when we got there.
It is much less busy after lunch to mid afternoon. Save yourself some money by picking up a local attraction brochure.
