Azaleas and camellias bloom during the winter months. There is a rose garden, but by August it is thin on the ground for flowers. There are other flowering trees that bloom in spring including Magnolia grandiflora, a native. And some of the native flowering shrubs bloom on and off. There is a sweet butterfly garden near the rose garden. And many annuals are rotated throughout the year so you are apt to see some color any time you visit. The garden is worth the visit, with its layering of ground covers, mid-layer shrubs and small trees and the magnificent live oaks. Highly recommended to visit.

Not being a Fl. resident, I cannot comment on bloom seasons. I suggest going to website or calling the attraction.

We were there in the dead of winter. One of the other answers mentioned that the azaleas bloomed early this year. But they also have a lovely rose garden, which should be in bloom soon, and last throughout the summer.
