what does you get extra with the privilege upgrade? is it worth it?
I did privilege this past March and am doing it again when I return in January. It is more than the answers below give but it is a personal preference. I enjoyed it for the following reasons: I enjoyed the Marina restaurant for my morning breakfast as it was just outside my door and I enjoyed sitting on the outside patio overlooking the water while eating a breakfast that I ordered off the menu. I enjoyed having the dinner reservations made for me so I didn't have to line up. I liked the room location (closest to the beach and pools right outside my building. I enjoyed having the shuttle come the minute we called. You have a private beach area with Cabana Beds. These are just a few of my reasons and again there is nothing wrong with not doing the privilege if these things are not important to you.
You get a couple international drinks a private section on the beach and better sun beds. But not worth the extra cost
Not worth it
We didn’t book privilege but it looks like you had the shuttle come when you asked for it instead of waiting for the regular shuttle. They have their own building with nicer seats on the balcony, but who really sits out there too much anyway. Room were probably a little nicer but the regular rooms were perfect anyway.
Personally, wouldn't bother, the only good perk which we could see was the transport on demand, as opposed to waiting for the train which is every 5 minutes or so.
From what I remember, you get a separate golf cart to pick you up around the resort, a better range of drinks, but the standard price covers branded drinks as well, I'm not sure about the room style as we did not see one, but we were not disappointing we did not upgrade.
It’s basically a timeshare,don’t bother
Wouldn't waste the money. We love building 5 which is central to everything and food is food. We are not drinkers of alcohol so why upgrade. If you don't want to stand in line at a restaurant, ask the concierges to get you reservations. They will.
