Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront, Cape Town Questions & Answers

Bothell, Washington

Hello, we'll be staying at your hotel between 8/13 and 8/18 and were curious if we should rent a car. Do you offer parking at the hotel, and if so, what is the cost? Also, is there a shuttle between the airport and hotel, and if so, what is the cost of that?

Thanks!

Dear Noah,

Greetings from the Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront!

We are looking forward to welcoming you on Friday, 08th August. We are located close to the V&A Waterfront and most popular tourist attractions in and around Cape Town. We are happy to assist with a car hire service from our very helpful Concierge Team but we do offer a complimentary shuttle service to the V&A Waterfront on a daily basis from 09h00 – 22h00. Should you wish to hire a car, we charge for parking at a cost R90.00 per day. Transfers to and from the Cape Town International Airport is charged at R495.00 for two persons, one way.

Once again, we look forward to welcoming you and we trust that you will have a pleasant stay with us!

Kind regards,

Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront Team

We hired very reasonably & would if we go again. Cheaper overall than taxis & airport shuttle. Free to park in hotel & gave us the freedom to tour the peninsular. Very easy to drive there. We used the shuttle back to the hotel from the Waterfront though we mostly walked there. It was useful as Table Mountain was closed for 3 days & as soon as we saw on their website that weather was favourable & it was open , we drove straight there. Ours was the last cable car down that day.

There is a shuttle every hour from Hotel to water front main area and mall where there are a lot of facilities. Last shuttle leaves waterfront at 11.15 pm. You can walk from this hotel to main area and its a 10 min walk but would not suggest walking at night. They say it is safe but I would not risk it.

There is no need to rent a car as Taxis are cheaper and no parking hassles

I believe the airport shuttle is about $30

Hotel can arrange the shuttle both ways if you arrange with them in advance
