Hi all, I am Moroccan, I just wanted to insure you that in Moroccan beaches you can sunbathe, there are no problems...just don't use a topless.....and everything will be ok!
have a nice trip
Yes, you can. Some people just lay out a towel whilst there are also a few sunbeds - not sure if totally 'public' or connected to bars. A lot of people use the beds at Beach & Friends - buy a drink or two and they're happy you lie there all day.
This is not a beach for your designer bikinis or for strutting about - mostly local kids are playing football on the beach, people are selling camel rides, horse rides and 4x4.
I wouldn't advise topless sunbathing not because people will get hassle but because you should be more respectful of the local culture.
Watch out for the wind - you can end up covered in grit in your sun cream.
Yes but be aware of dress code!
hi, we did not see any sunbathers in essaouira. i would advise against it as morocco is a conservative country. Even in the streets, westerners were well dressed and displayed little skin out of respect to the locals.
you may be able to sunbathe on private beaches. best to call a hotel on the beach and enquire.
