Is it better to purchase a ticket online in advance or wait until we arrive at the dock as we have no idea our exact time of arrival as we fly into BZE that morning. Also, do you think one of the water taxi companies is better then the other?

We were able to purchase it at the dock with no issues. They charge you 10% extra to buy online. You need to pay by cash but they accept USD as well as the local currency.

You can get them when you arrive just go at least 20 minutes prior early and this one is legitimately one of the best ones I’ve experienced.

Hi there,

Please dont book in advance. Boats leaving all the time. No shortage. Get your ticket when you get there. Just in case something goes wrong with your travel. So no rush and enjoy

This water taxi was rated the best..Just wait til you arrive.. purchase 30 minutes before departure. Sometimes the lines are long.

Regarding your question about which water taxi is better, the two companies alternate days so just use the one that is operating on the day you are there.
