St. Gellert Thermal Bath and Swimming Pool Questions & Answers
Do you have to wear a swimming cap? My understanding is its just the main pool but is this one of the thermal ones. Slightly confused??

Swimming pool is the only pool of St. Gellért where wearing a swimming cap is obligatory.

Cap is required ONLY for the swimming pools. Not needed for sauna, steam rooms and thermal baths.

Not in all pools but in some you do .

Yes, it is only the main pool in which you have to wear a hat-a point we only noticed after being changed into swimming gear. I would imagine other visitors were in the same position as this lovely pool seemed the emptiest of them all. I would suggest asking if they hire caps as you go in as it looks so inviting!
