I didn't buy tickets on line and had no trouble getting a ticket at the ticket office when we went to the castle. There was no line up and we went in August when it is busy.

The problem might be that there are lines of school groups, which caused a bit of a wait when we were there, but this was only when we were in the castle. We couldn't figure out how to buy tickets online, but there was only one person in front of us when we bought tickets, and it was high season. If you are interested in Turkish rugs, you should go to that exhibit as well, part of the castle tour.

Do not know. We were there in a pretty busy season in May and had no wait to get tickets.

Maybe but make sure to print whatever you buy because several people could not have an electronic copy validated at other venues. I also found some of the websites to be only in Polish so I could not read most of it. I went on a Sunday (which is a free admission day) mid day and there was no line up (but you had to get a paper ticket even if it was a free admission day)..,
