Can someone tell me how you get tickets for the trams and how much they are .. also is there a day pass of some sort??
Thanks
Jo
Hi we went in June and going back early December 2019. We found it. Mainly. Flat. And could get around no problem
Taxis are. Reasonable, along with. Golf. Cart taxis who were very helpful and informative.
TRAMS. are frequent and cheap ,you can purchase tickets that are 1,. 3,. 5 day on line. But unless. You are using them. ALL. DAY. ITS. CHEAPER TO PAY PER. JOURNEY. ONLY. A FEW. ZOLOTYS. OR ASK AT YOUR HOTEL RECEPTION. HOPE THIS. HELPS,. ALL. THE. BEST. SAFE. TRAVELLING
You can buy tickets onboard from machine midway in Cabot.
Machines take coins.
Cost depend on length of time/# of zones transited. I think around 4 so for 2 zones.
I never used them but I just googled it and the information I gleaned was one way ticket 4.6plz which is a pound (approx) bought at newsstands and ticket machines around krakow ,have a nice time it’s a great city.
We didn’t take trams- everything was walkable or a short cab ride. Note that Uber’s aren’t allowed within the old city walls. We used the app iTaxi to get a cab when we needed one.
You buy them at the Tram stops and validate them on the Tram in the yellow box. You buy them for the length of time you are on the Tram. Dont think there is a day ticket. We used them about 12 times and nobody ever checked our tickets. You need coins the machines dont take notes.
We didn't use trams. Walked pretty much everywhere. Uber came in handy for longer distances.
...midway in cabin...
Sorry never used the trams but you can pretty much walk anywhere.
