Hi.. We are going in November and understand that its not snow season. Can we still go up to The Remarkables and how is the road condition like?

Hi, Yes you can go. Not much snow, but roads should be fine, you will like the amazing view on the way up there.

Yes, access rooad is very good, but some high dropoffs. Access subject to maintenance and weather conditions daily.

November is summer time in NZ

Don’t know if the lifts will be open but the road should be accessible

Yes the road is still accessible to go up there even when the ski resort is closed.There is a good walk over the ridge towards Wye Creek for keen hikers and climbers. The roads aren't usually maintained after the ski season but if you're prepared for unpredictable weather it should be ok.
