The lodge is very simple, you have there 4 bed and the other people can share the room with you. There you have not a shower or toilet, but the bathroom is not so far away. You have to share the toilet and the shower, but there are many toilet and showers. The hotel is like a motel room in USA, and it is a little better atmosphere, but you are the most of the time outside.

The hotel room is just like any ordinary hotel room. It is in a villa-type of building to the left of the Hotel Reception. Each villa has two units (rooms). Our room was spacious, clean with all hotel amenities.

We also stayed in the Lodge for one night. Depending on the type of room you book, ours is an ensuite room ($280 a night) situated on the other side of the Hotel Reception. It was also in a villa. Each villa has three rooms. Our room has a double and a single bed, bathroom, toilet, centrally controlled heating (we went in August), tea and coffee, and a fridge. The room is smallish and simple but clean, however it doesn't have the comfort and elegance of the Outback Pioneer Hotel room.

From what I remember, it does not have guest laundry. But, we had our own private room and bath which was clean and neat. Nothing fancy, but for 1 night, it was fine.

We stayed in the lodge @ $300+ a night and hope the motel is cheaper. Just be careful when you chargeback your drinks and meals to your account. One of the restaurants charged us someone else's meal to our account.

I would add to the answers that there's a communal kitchen with basic cooking equipment. We needed to fill our water bottles while waiting for the shuttle and ducked in there and saw a group making eggs and bacon for breakfast. Although the pioneer is the cheapest option we found it pretty low quality and wished wed stayed in Desert Garden or one of the others.

The lodge is backpackers style accommodation with multiple beds in the room and no ensuite. Shared bathroom facilities would be nearby. You could email or check their website. Note that some backpackers style accomodation can be very comfortable at a much more reasonable price as long as you don’t mind going outside your room to a separate bathroom.

As above. We found our hotel room to be very roomy and comfortable with a pleasant outlook over the pool.

The lodge is like the university dormitory, 4 or more people can share the room with some bunk beds. Some type of room at the lodge, they don't have the 'private' shower room or toilet, so you need to use the 'public' ones next to the kitchen.

The hotel will be more similar to a motel, featuring twin bed or double bed, in-room shower & toilet, as well as the more reliable air conditioning.
