Hi all! I'm thinking about travelling to Serbia in October and would like to visit Devil's Town but I won't have access to a car. How should I do this? Where is the best place to stay with access for a day trip? Are there any bus routes or will I have to go on a tour or by taxi? Any information on logistics would be great! Thank you very much in advance!

Hi, RBrog! Our suggestion is to travel to Kursumlija town (27 km from Devil's Town) and then take a taxi (there's no regular bus line to Devil's Town). If you want a place to stay, we recommend Prolom Banja (30 km) and you have direct bus lines to Nis and Beograd from there.

Nis is the best option for the place, there is no regular bus that goes to Djavolja Varos, so you would have to take a taxi or tour. I would recommend the tour because it is a better value for your money. I would reccomend checking Belgrade Walking Tours, they are a great operator and will surely be able to help you out :)

I’m on the bus from Cacak to Nis and the driver said there are no buses from Nis to Krusumlija, so I should get off at Blace and taxi to Davolja Varos from there. True or scam?

Thanks very much for your replies! I'll definitely be checking out those options. Tea M - do you know of any tours operating out of Nis as I'm heading to Pristina afterwards so don't want to go back to Belgrade.
