If I remember correctly access to the garden and green house was included in the 12,50 for an adult and they also had family tickets. There is a larger park around the castle which is accessible without charge. I don't know about the play area.

Nope!! There is a section you can pay for that gets you on the grounds behind the castle, just a couple paths and some cool trees.

Hello, there was a charge to the gardens. I bought a ticket to include the castle tour total was 12 euro. I don't remember seeing a Children's play area, but there might be one as I didn't have any children with me i wasn't looking.

You only pay to go into the Castle, not the gardens or shopping area. However, a tour of the Castle is well worth it and it isn't expensive; it's also small so not boring - our guide was full of fun!
