White Rocks Hotel Kefalonia Questions & Answers

Lancashire, United Kingdom

On half board, is it possible to swap our evening buffet meal to the lunchtime buffet instead of going a-la-carte at lunch ? Surely this would be economically better for the hotel.

The half board option includes buffet dinner not lunch. Many lunch a la carte options available.

Dear mumof3300, you have the following dining options at the hotel for 2018.

You may enjoy a buffet dinner or swap it with al fresco set menu waiter service lunch and also choose from the a la carte menu with extra charge if you choose a Half Board package. I

Reservations are required.

Alternatively you may choose the Bed and Breakfast board and choose a la carte dining or private dining.

In both cases you can enjoy snacks and light lunch at the Vrahinari Beach bar during the day or order Room Service.

Thanks for your replies.

We wanted swap to something less formal than a-la-carte for lunch, something like the beach bar, but it seems you can only swap to a-la-carte.

Don't think they do a lunchtime buffet. We mainly had a snack from the beach bar, sitting in the shade of the trees with views of the sea was just right.

There isn't a lunchtime buffet, or at least there wasn't when we visited in May.

You need to inform reception that you will be taking lunch (check latest cut-off times with desk) and they will give you a voucher to present at the downstairs bar/restaurant. The lunch menu is limited to about three or four choices per course and it is not a buffet but presented "plated-up". It is also waitress service.

My wife and I preferred it but the evening buffet did supply much more choice and quantity.
