What public transportation can I take from Hotel Verdandi on Tordenskioldsgate to Vigeland Park
I see that your question has been answered regarding transportation, however if you are able to, walking is a great advantage as others have mentioned. We walked from the the city centre - you will see so much more and can stop at a cafe for a quick coffee, as well as seeing beautiful parks and residential areas. Enjoy your trip!!
Check it out in the app called Ruter for public transportation.
I took tram #12, it will drop you just infront of the park.
I walked from Adamstua area to Vigeland via Bislett and Parkveien with a coffee stop. It was interesting to walk through the ambassadorial area and see how different it is to surrounding areas, trams seem very good in Oslo and run to time.
Hope this helps and enjoy your visit!
We walked from our hotel on Karl Johan to the Central train station (which has booklets that tell you what trams or buses go which sites in the whole area) and the then took a tram to Frogner plass (or Vigeland sparken stop - both work) which are a block or so away from Vigland park, Vigland Museum, and the City Museum. We just looked it up on the schedule. - It was the # 12 tram. We found public transportation so very easy and efficient in Oslo.
