The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet Questions & Answers

Bangkok, Thailand

As I read, many comments said the view from the rooftop is beautiful.

My question is; are we free to go up there or do we have to had an opera ticket?

Thank you.

No it is free, the building is built in such a way that you can access the roof from the outside! It is broad, and safe, but in the winter it does get a bit slippery! Enjoy the view.

You may enter all the outdoor areas for free, including the roof. The neighborhood is more or less a building area now. In a few years we will have the new Munch Museum and the new library here. That will make this part of Oslo a centre for art and culture.
