Hi, thinkin. What would you like to know about this attraction? I will be stopping in Olympia, Greece on a cruise. I enjoyed reading your review of the winery. Did you rent a taxi to visit the winery ? If yes, what was the cost from your location ( please specify). Thanks
We rented a private taxi tour to take us to Olympia and it was a suggestion of the owner’s company to go to the winery after visiting Olympia. We paid 100 euros to take us from Katakolon port to Olympia, to the winery and take us back to the port. We settled everything by email some weeks before our cruise. They have provided a very good service with a very comfortable vehicle and a nice driver. You can reach them by searching katakolo2olympia.
We had rented a car so don’t know the taxi fare. It wasn’t far out of town
Thank you for taking the time to respond to my inquiry.
We did hire a taxi ahead of time driven by Antonis Sakellis. He drove us to the ancient olympic ruins and then to the winery. The price was 120 euros. This did not include admission to either place. We really enjoyed being able to beat crowds to the ruins and we loved the winery enough to buy some of the wine.
