Hello everyone,
Myself and my fiance (Her birthday surprise) have booked a room with yourselves on Jan 21st to January 25th 2016. Arriving at Rome FCO airport at 20:15 pm. We will need to find transport to your fantastic hotel. I don't want all the hassle and confusion locating a reliable form of transport. Could you make a few suggestions please? Taxi or hired hotel service?
Kind regards,
Pierre
Hi,
as usually we are able to organize, on request, a poick up limo service at the airport. this is little more expensive than the train (Leonardo Express Train has a cost of € 14,00 per person) but from the airport you could reach the hotel in about 30 minutes.
Please contact us directly with all the fly details.
We will let you find the driver and it could be a big surprise for your fiance.
Waiting to welcome you please accept our warmest regards
gianfranco
Pierre,
Although we drove to the hotel, it was a hassle with traffic and parking. Plenty of taxis at FCO. Good Lick!
HI, Pierre,
I stayed in Aurelius in August, arriving through FCO airport. We found a taxi right in the airport, cost us 44 euros. We went back to airport in a taxi called by hotel manager, price was the same. Taxi is a convenient choice in my opinion.
Travel Warning: Greetings fellow travelers! The Hotel Aurelius is the most wonderful hotel in Rome with an amazingly warm and hospitable staff! I have advice for humble folks, as we are, for whom taxis are not in our budget. From Venice we took the Metro, which itself is a fun experience, but that left us walking a ways to the Hotel Aurelius. (FYI - I'm sorry I will be using labels that stereotype certain groups of people ) Though we were aware of bands of "gypsy" women carrying what sadly looked like sedated infants and I was robbed close to the hotel even though I had researched how to be safe in Rome before leaving for Italy. Please allow extra Euros in your budget for safe travel options! Rome is AMAZING!!!!!!!
We requested transport through the Aurelius and it was 75 euros. The driver was at the airport with our name on a sign. Have fun!
