Can anyone tell me which metro stop is closest to this? Is the market open every day? And what time does it close?
The metro(subway) stop is actually in Plaza Catalunya, from where the La Rambla begins. You have two options, using the Green Line, L3 or the Red Line, L1.
The market is open 6 days a week closed on Sunday.
Not sure on the metro station as we tend to walk everywhere when we go to Barcelona .
Las Ramblas is actually a long street with shops, both retail and restaurants so the opening hours differ. Catalunya metro stop is at the beginning of Las Ramblas. I downloaded the Metro App which was so much help, I used it daily. Down the middle of las Ramblas are little canopy’s that sell souvenirs, food and tours. The Boqueria is a definite must see if you go to Las Ramblas.
If you mean Boqueria Market
