Hello fellow travelers,
Did you go to Plaza de Espana from the cruise port in Cadiz?
If yes, would you describe your experience, especially
if you took the train from Cadiz to Seville (San Bernardo), and
then take the bus/tram from Seville train station to Plaza de Espana.
Do train ticket counters/machines accept non-Spain credit cards?
Can we use non-Spain credit cards to buy bus tickets in Seville?
I took a round trip bus from Seville to Cadiz. It was super easy buying the ticket, I used the GoEuro app which made it easy and I didn't have to worry about tracking a paper ticket. By using the mobile app I used my credit card which was a non-Spanish one.
You can buy a bus ticket in person at the bus station using one of the kiosk stations and you can use any credit card.
We stayed in Seville but did travel by train to Cordoba from there for a day. We bought our tickets on the day (didn’t know they were cheaper to buy in advance so better to try and do that) at the station and paid by a non Spanish credit card.
You can walk from Santa Justa station in Seville to Plaza España in just over half an hour.
We only took a bus once and paid by cash as it was very cheap at €1.60 each.
Credit cards were widely accepted everywhere we went and most places gave you the option to pay in Euros or your local currency.
Hope this helps.
