you just show up, it's not possible to book a place on the tour. They always have enough guides on duty to cope with the number of people

They do ask that large groups (10+) request a separate guide in advance - this can be at any time and is not restricted to the scheduled walks.

Just turn up, no booking required. There are plenty of guides in the square. Just note, they stick to the start time fairly rigidly!

We just showed up. There are several guides who leave at the same time there should not be any problem just arriving shortly before the scheduled time.

We got there about 15 minutes prior to the tours starting. There was about 100 people milling about, at least 6 guides took care of us all in a very efficient manner. So, no need to book. I am sure you'll enjoy it, the tour was one of many highlights of our recent English holiday.

No reservation necessary, just turn up 10 minutes before the start time and the guides come along. Don’t worry if there seem to be a lot of people because there’s more than one guide and they split you into multiple groups. Our group consisted of around 16 people and it was fine. Enjoy.
