How strong is the air conditioning? Coming from the states in early July and really like a strong flow of cold air.

I agree, the air and heater worked well. (I like a cool room at night regardless of the season.)

My room had it's own reverse cycle air-conditioning so you can control. I'm from Australia and it was cool enough for me!

We like cold rooms at night and the A/C worked well for us. In fact, it's one of the things we really liked about the hotel. The rooms are small and the A/C is a new mini-split located above the door. Here, as in many hotels, there's a lower limit to the temperature setting, I think 18C. But even with that, letting it run for a while will work well. One thing to be aware of: once you take your card key out of the control panel it probably turns off the A/C to save energy etc. You can get around this of course by keeping any card in the slot while out and about.
