I would make a reservation however you need to pick the location. I am assuming you are heading to Toronto as they have a location in Los Angeles too.

1) Queen Street West - Young and hip crowd in a "cool" neighborhood. My favorite. Try the patio in the back during the summer.

2) Yonge and Price - This is the midtown location. Crowd is more "well to do" but place has a nice feel.

3) Downtown - nice space frequented by business lunch crowd and downtown condo dwellers looking for a bite to eat. In the summer they open a patio which is nice.

Once you decide where to go I would definitely make a reservation. These places get busy with good reason. The food is good, well priced and they each provide their own individual atmosphere. Use one of the reservation apps (e.g. opentable) and reduce your stress to zero.

Hope this helps

Terroni tends to be extremely busy if you eat at the peak time (between noon and 1:30 p.m.); I had a reservation, but was a couple of minutes late getting there because I had underestimated the walking time from where I had spent the morning, and the restaurant called me on my cell to confirm that I was indeed coming. When I arrived (about 12:05) there was a short lineup, which rapidly grew longer and remained steady throughout the time we were there. So: definitely suggest making a reservation!

Depends on the time of day. We had an early lunch on a weekday so we just walked in. Evenings and weekends are busy...suggest reservations.
