Is this a walking trail park only or are you able to drive around it in a car to the different view points?
Nope - just park in the upper parking lot, grab a delicious ice cream from the friendly folks at the corner convenience store there and start walking! I recommend going straight on the path so you can see Martello Tower on the right, the old fort on the left, straight through to the beach on the Noethwest Arm.
Then you can follow the water to go back, check out the big bandstand/gazebo, the sailors memorial, and end at Black Rock beach. Then you can walk back up the road to the upper parking lot, either through the park or on the sidewalk by the road.
Sorry, but this is a walking park. There are parking areas at the top of the park at the end of Tower Road and down by Black Rock Beach which is at the bottom of the park. Thisis an easy walking park and you will definitely enjoy it.
My recollection is it is a walking/biking park. Parking is on the periphery of the park.
It is enjoyable, with places to sit, plenty of shade on hot days.
Walking, jogging and biking only. There are two parking lots for cars.
