They have all water sports, though I've never gone snorkeling (I assume they have it or can provide it). I don't know about the timeshare exchange fee since we own there. Yes, there are laundry facilities and yes, there is a free shuttle bus to Phillipsburg from the resort. The studios do have a refrigerator. Probably the best location due to mobility constraints would be the Marina Building.

I took a trip from the report to the french side of the island for snorkeling and had a great time. Not like Hawaii but still fun. We were not charged a resort fee for our exchange. Laundry was easily available if not in your suite and we had a full kitchen

The buildings at the top of the hill can be a real trek for walking but you can always go to the lobby and they will shuttle you to your room

The Phillipsburg bus didn't go every day but it was free because it was sponsored by a jewelry store in town. You had to listen to their pitch but they were nice and even provided water

We had a wonderful time there

no, not really good snorkeling. Yes the 10$ applies to everyone I think. Yes, there was a laundry room at the location we were at up the hill. It was great...you buy tokens in the shack on the road on way up where you get your pool towels. Yes there is a bus to Phillipsburg and I think there is a boat from the resort too but we did not use it. The studios have full size kitchens which are fully stocked with everything except food. If you cant walk up and down the hill, I would suggest you stay at the location closest to the water so you can walk to town and restaurants etc.
