Elbow Beach Questions & Answers

Blacksburg, Virginia

Is this beach exclusive to a resort or open to the public? We are cruising to Bermuda soon and I am researching as much as possible. Thanks!

It is open to the public but only certain parts. You can't use the chairs and Umbrellas if you don't stay at the resort unless you pay $100. They made us go down about 300 yards to the public area and there is no shade there at all. They made us move twice because we weren't far away enough.

Open to public. My understanding is that all the beaches in Bermuda are open to public.

Hey!

So the beach is both private and public. There's a hotel on the same stretch of beach and you can tell by their fancy wooden beach chairs and umbrellas. The public entrance is convenient for the bus stop. Now Horseshoe Bay is all public. Much smaller beach but fun as there are large rocks to explore.

Have a great trip!
