How do I get there from Shin-Imamiya St if I have JR Pass?
I have been using Google Maps and you can pick the routs with only JR connection. However, some very short local connections maybe you want to consider spent extra Yen to save time taking a longer, multiple connections choice, especially carrying large luggage’s.
I have JR pass but I didn’t use it to get to Namba. Instead, it was faster and easier to use Midosuji line from Shin-Osaka to Namba, get off at 7th stop, cost 280 yen per person.
It is best not to use JR pass and just use a local train on Nankai Line. As indicated above, it is best to use Hyperdia website. I found that to be a very very useful website when I was there.
Shin-Imamiya is a transfer station. You would be able to navigate to Dobutsuenmae local train (red line and stop M22) and from there catch red line from M22 to M20 (Namba).
