Hi, I am keen to stay in the Uluwatu area for 4 nights during a trip to Bali but I'm not sure where - we are looking for views/relaxation but also some bars and restaurants within walking distance. Is Bingin beach the right area for that? Thanks!
It depends on where you are staying. We had an Airbnb and had to hire a scooter to go to any bars or restaurants, but if your accomodation is walking distance there are some bars and restaurants.
Mostly this area is about relaxing and surfing.
Good luck !!
I loved Bingin beach!! For sure its a surfers beach, but I don´t surf and could swim and relax ; there are some restaurants in the beach , but prefer the ones in the hotels , and they have GREAT views .
The area caters to laid back surfer culture not upmarket bars & clubs. It’s still quite undeveloped and you won’t find range of food & services. But if that’s your scene then it’s ok. Do expect things to be pricey though because they have a monopoly down there and no qualms about ripping off tourists.
There is enough in the area to satisfy most food needs but don't expect flashy Seminyak stuff, this area is far less pretentious.
I liked very much totally relax.
Hi Rachel A,
Yeap, I think Bingin Beach is the right area to stay. So many places to stay and to hang out and to eat or just to relax in Bingin Beach area. :)
Hi Rachel, yes Bingin beach is great. There's a few restaurants on the beach although we never went to them in the evening. We felt the walk up and down the steps was a little precarious at night especially after a few bingtangs. We ate at The Cashew Tree and loved it. We visited Padang Padang and thought it looked great. We may stay there on our next visit so worth considering. It seems to have plenty on offer and restaurants with super views.
Hi Rachel! Bingin beach is great. There’s quiet a few restaurants on the beach.. views are amazing... we have stayed at Kubu Bingin An captain jacks in bingin ( booked via Airbnb)
