Rent a car!! and don't pay for all-inclusive. We went with Avis and had no issues.

The resort is remote far from everything. Renting a car is not expensive and frees you up to do whatever.

You can choose restaurants in Cancun proper or pay for the resort fare driving from airport is easy.

There is a minibus to the town bus station, but it is small and mostly for resort employees. We walked out to the highway and got a cab ride to town for $5. In town just take the bus down through the hotel district; very inexpensive. Most cabs will charge you $25 to town and $40 to the lower end of the hotel district. There are shuttles from the hotel, but they were undependable when we were there. The ferry to the island is right nearby, and a day on the island is fun.

Don't know exactly what you are looking for, but it is a beautiful resort. There are lots of swimming pools throughout the resort, the beach is okay, but Palappas on the beach could be limited. The restaurants are good, be sure to make reservations early if you intend to take their all inclusive. Be sure to partake in their breakfast at Davido's restaurant. While I was there, the restaurants required a dress code for dinner, which I did not quite approve of, be that as it may, there food was good. There is a lot of vegetation on the grounds, beautiful, because it means shade. It is a relaxed atmosphere, you will not find a raucous crowd or college breakers, since it is so isolated from the mainstrip of Cancun. If you are venturesome, take their shuttle bus into Cancun, the service is free. There are water activities to keep you busy. Enjoy.

The resort is pretty isolated from Cancun if you were looking for club type atmosphere this would not be the place for you. If you are looking for rest and relaxation, this is a good resort. The ferry to isle mujeres is within walking distance, so no taxi needed. Isle mujeres is a beautiful place to visit and can be seen from this resort. Enjoy your stay!

this is the place for you if you're looking for a quietand restful vacation. The restrooms are fantastic. The sushi The Steakhouse can't remember the restauNrant name but its the one where you can have breakfast is also great. The resort is very clean there is room service which is great if you're not in the mood to go out but the menu is limited. It's really a family or a couples resort/Singles resort that is looking fora restful trip. The buffet that night aren't that great outside. If you want to have an ongoing bill in the day you can tell the waiter if you're sitting by the pool for drinksor food to get you to sign at the end of the day your bill. Its a smaller resort which I think makes it friendlier even between guests. Dont do the timeshare meeting they are very very forcefulfriends were kept in there for 3 hours. Have a great time.
