What are the prices like in the resort for food and drink and are there any places within walking distance?
Apologies for the delay! Missed this. Prices are what you would expect at a resort or this standing. The Seafood at Trisara restaurant has some dishes hovering around the THB250-350 range. As for walking, not recommended as firstly, the drive to the main gate is a trek and you're atop a hill, and on a bend. There are people that take advantage of this as a running/walking trail but be warned that the roads are one lane each and curvy. I would suggest taking hotel transport, hiring your own car and exploring or getting a driver. Hope this helps you!
Hi, prices were what you'd expect in a resort that carries a high rating. There weren't options within walking distance that we were made aware of. You can ask to be driven/dropped off to a local / nearby town ( at a price) via the resort. It was a ten minute drive. We didn't get out here but saw there may have been local dining.
Hope this assists
I remember the prices being similar to what eating out in Australia would be. $25-$30 per main maybe for basic dishes. The food was excellent though and definitely a highlight of the trip. There was nothing in walking distance but the hotel would call a taxi to go into a town nearby and there were lots of local food options there at cheap prices.
