Lindqvist Beach Questions & Answers

Baltimore, Maryland

We will be here in July. Just wondering what the opinion here is on thong swimwear. I'm discrete and would look for a less crowded section of beach. I know it's not the norm here but is it seen and at least acceptable?

Nobody will notice unless the thong changes your behavior. There is a really good lifeguard who looks out for the beach and he will let you know if things are not going well.

I do not think it would be an issue and would not worry about isolating yourself. It is young, European, and South American multi- cultural Caribbean crowd.

When we were there in the fall, there were many families on the beach playing in the water, having picnics, and walking along the beach looking for shells. Did not see any thongs in the four hours we were there.

The beach is not very crowded and it's in the Caribbean- wear your thong! I don't think you will feel self conscious.

I saw no thongs on the beaches -- neither Lindquist, nor Bolongo, nor Sapphire beaches. Wear it at your own risk!

there were only about 10 people there when we were there. probably not a true sampling of beach attire variety. This is a state run park .
