We are going to Sandals Whitehouse for our Honeymoon during the week of Thanksgiving. We know the resort is pretty secluded, which we like. My question is, is there any place fairly near to the resort and easy to get to that offers waverunner rental or parasailing? If so, where is it?
Thanks in advance!
Thank you for your post. As you stated, Sandals Whitehouse is perfect for a bit of quiet relaxation in the middle of a beautiful nature reserve! But if you want to do a bit more exploring one day, we have got you covered. There are so many tours offered in Jamaica and our friends at Island Routes Caribbean Adventures know them all. On their website you are able to view and browse all of the options that are available along with what each tour includes. Just select Jamaica and further narrow down the search by selecting the South Coast Region. They truly live by their motto of LIVE FUNNER and will definitely be able to assist you in making sure you have a memorable experience while staying with us in beautiful Jamaica!
I hope this has helped and you can contact us if you need any further assistance. Happy Travels!!

Sandals and Beaches Resorts
First off you will totally love this place. We've been to a few Sandals and this one ranks right at the top. As for rentals, you'll have to go off site, unless you want to go on a snorkeling tour. The other reviews are right, the beauty of this place is it's seclusion. Once there, which the trip from the airport is a long one, you won't be disappointed.
The beauty of that resort, is that there is absolutely nothing. Every once in a while a third world fishing boat goes by. Nobody is peddling stuff on the beach and it is quite. But, you can checkout other Sandals resort while you are there for free. Take the Sandals shuttle to the Negril location for the rentals. Also, if you do any tours. Skip the Sandlas tour office and walk about 50 yards out the front of the resort. You will see vans standing by that will take you anywhere you want to go. We grabbed one. The driver took us swimming with dolphins, got some jerk chicken off a road side stand, and some other local fun stuff. He stayed with us all day.
We loved the Whitehouse. It is a little quieter than the Grand Riviera but still very enjoyable. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the French Cafe . The rooms and restaurants are very good. We would visit again. The beautiful astmosphere and friendly people make you want to go again and again.
Hope you enjoy your stay. I am anxious to return.
