I would like to know why the manager of the restaurant defended their policy without apologizing to Giuseppe. Possibly the misunderstanding occurred in the first place because the waitress had limited English ( instead of saying the menu was for “special people”, she might have meant that it was a preordered menu for the group); but what she actually said was like slapping the family in the face. Also, perhaps she was stressed with a group arriving and so neglected to welcome the English family...who knows? If the manager had added a heartfelt apology to his justification, I might consider going to Diferent on my upcoming business trip to Begur... but not now
