Hello.do you have the Aharon Horovitz book "City of David: The story of Ancient Jerusalem" ad how much is it in US dollars ?
Has anyone seen the new Hallelujah night show at the City of David? It just opened about 1 month ago but I can not find any reviews. Thank You!
To do the "From the City of David to the Western Wall", do i need to do the organized tour (only at 11 am) or is it open from till 5 pm?
About how much is the taxi fare from the Primo Kings hotel ? In american dollars. How long is the trip? Is there a place to get a snack like pizza?
Last year I visited the site and had a wonderful time. I purchased the tickets in advance, on-line. I also had great help with answers to my questions through email.
This year, the site is not working properly and I am unable to complete the purchase. I've also not been able to get a response to several emails. Others have left comments on the site, trying to get answers to questions, but no one is responding.
I am leading a group of 10 to Israel later this year and would really like to nail down some main attractions. Is any one else experiencing this? Is there another email address where the staff might respond?
Thanks for your help.
What would be that closest and fastest place to eat in case we have about 1/2 hour or less before the guided tour ?
My friend and I will only have 5 days in Jerusalem before we meet-up with our tour group. We want to 'absorb' as much as possible while we're there but I don't want to book a tour every day. I also REALLY want to have a day at the Israel and Bible Lands museums.
I guess what I'm asking is whether there is 'overlap' in information and sights/experiences for the City of David Park and the Jerusalem Archaeological park and Davidson Center. Is there a 'feeling' that one might be better than another for first time visitors?
Our possible schedule:
Sat > Sandeman tour and tower of David museum. maybe walk city walls
Sun> Israel and Bible Land museums
Mon> Masada, etc. day trip ***the only 'locked-in' date -- so far***
Tues> Jerusalem Archaeological park, Davidson Center, Kotel tunnel tour
Wed> City of David & one of their tunnel tours
Does the above seem doable? I know everything will be Wonderful but we can't Do Everything. I want us to enjoy -- have time to absorb -- not be overloaded. Does anyone have suggestions?
