This was not ate first cruise with Tui but one off the worst It was a 7 nights around Barbados and 7 nights in Barbados (hotel was ok except for the late wedding party’s next to are room) The cruise was horrible, the day after we paid are Final payment Marella cruises to be changed the Islands we were visiting We wanted to cancel but was told we couldn’t cancel it as it is in the small writing I can change the islands are in a minute this was not the holiday we booked arranged for disgrace Will sent two letters to them they have not replied The ship was not up to scratch The food was very bland and not a very good selection cannot get into the extra restaurants are fully booked for the time go Shower never worked for 3 days Food not very good We had stains on are sheet and took them 5 goes to get it right Reception staff very rude Run water was stale and tasted off When paying just under £8000 for two people on a one off hoilday and not very good a very bad show If you are Thinking of taking a cruise with Tui you should look elsewhere Consider your options for the money your plan but do not deal with any complaints They don’t look after you once They have your money This was are second Tui cruise and it felt like this time they had gone down hill marks out off 10 4 I have called Tui and still just brushed away I spent more time on the holiday sales and the advertising I spent it might be better but they are a disgrace to the holiday people and the cruise companys Making cruise like a carry on film

My partner and I flew out to Barbados to meet the ship for 7 night cruise The welcome process was excellent, the Cabin was dated, tired, Steward though was excellent Entertainment was very Butlins, The Self Service Buffet was shocking, breakfast was Luke warm, half cooked sausages, congealed eggs one day no beans or tomatoes, next day both, it was that bad that I had the duty chef out to discuss the quality, Ultimately it’s all down to money, The other Restaurants were cheerfully staffed and food was fair to good The Shore excursions were enjoyable, good value, obviously having to abide by the relevant rules of the Islands we were visiting Captain Chris ! Now I’m ex Merchant Navy, Sea School at Dartford in the 70s I’m A bit of a Victor Meldrew at times, when the Captain starts playing “Sweet Caroline” on the ships horn with cruise director Harlequin singing along, you just know that this Ship is somewhat special, for me, not over impressed, but my partner whom is a few decade younger thought it was hilarious, so I would say the majority of passengers felt likewise I’ve been on this ship a few years ago when it was based in Mallorca where I live, it is dated, clearly running on a tight budget but you cannot fault the crews Captain Chris your end of Cruise tribute to your Crew was excellent, that for me made up for all the smaller complaints I could have made The past few years have been difficult for us all in so many ways Making a living is not a dirty word, good luck for the future,

A memorable first cruise experience on Marella with about a dozen friend to the Carribbean for two weeks. We found the Captain to be very approachable, and the staff very friendly. The crew from over 30 countries were one big happy family, which made the trip enjoyable for us. We enjoyed our meals at 47 and Island restaurant, where the staff were so friendly and have us everything we asked for. Dem boys were particularly good entertainment, but also Collectives and the Broadway shows. I have 4 stars because of the high cost of WiFi, which we found out was also slow.. so we had to get access to free WiFi at the ports.

Caribbean cruse on Dicovery 2 April 2022 this ship is in need of a total refit cabins are looking tired and not very inviting Paint peeling off on shower walls Every day on the ship staff were trying to dry the carpets on most decks due to leaks from swimming pool on the top deck But the staff on board were lovely its just a shame the ship was a disappointment Value for money I don't think so Compared to P&O which have far superior cruise ships

We've all heard the phrase covid bubble over the last few years, I would describe this ship as a 'happiness bubble'; Every member of staff were happy, friendly, helpful, and it's clear to see they really enjoy working with each other, it's not that sycophantic 'happy service' you get in the service industries, this was genuine happiness that can't be faked, which rubbed off on it's passengers. The whole operation was incredibly slick, from getting on and off the ship for trips, ordering drinks etc. and my favourite, being collected directly from the plane on arrival without going through the airport and having our luggage delivered straight to our room, and then in in our room all the tickets for our pre-booked excursions waiting for us. This was our first time on a cruise as a sort of 'taster cruise' so we can't compare to seemingly more 'prestigious brands' and I think we chose well. It was all a bit more 'British' than I was expecting and I was really worried this was going to be a 'Brits abroad' experience, but it turned out to be okay, and it quickly became clear this ship has a dedicated following of travellers that like its style. It also became clear many people were far happier than they'd been on other cruises companies that this trip is all-inclusive (and like us many had opted for the small additional premium drinks option), so weren't fed up with the constant tipping culture that's apparent on other cruise lines. The food and restaurants were okay, I was expecting (and disappointed not to get) more regional dishes to the area (we were in the Caribbean), but there was always plenty of dining options, I wouldn't say the food was outstanding but it was good and we did try the (additional cost) surf and turf restaurant, the service in there was again very good. Our (balcony style) cabin was fine, it wasn't luxurious but it was perfect for what we wanted, and it was always kept spotlessly clean (as was the ship, it was constantly being hoovered/wiped/polished). Our housekeeper asked our names on the first day and she remembered them all week often calling down the corridor to us when she saw us. I was mightily impressed with this personal touch and can only assume she's been learning tricks from Derren Brown! Having a daily information sheet for the following days port of call delivered to our cabin every evening was very helpful. Most of the (sightseeing) excursions we did I wouldn't bother with or recommend, they were all a bit too much ‘whistle stop’ with 20 mins here and there was nothing we hadn’t experienced somewhere before, we would have spent the time better by just chilling on a nearby beach, but maybe that's the experience I've gained on my first cruise. As for the entertainment; I wasn't expecting much and didn't really get much. It was all too repetitive with the same singers and bands every day, they were okay but I didn't want to see them all the time. The evening 'shows' were a bit lacklustre for me, they were 'performances' but nobody put their heart and soul in to it, albeit you can tell all the performers had talent. I’m a hard person to please regarding entertainment, I very much like to see live bands giving it their heart and energy in to a performance, the only band I really enjoyed were the local reggae band, although Matt (from Cardiff) was also very good.....just not every day please! I came back not really knowing if cruising was for me, but a few weeks on and yes I'd definitely do it again, I enjoyed every moment of it and was sad to leave the ship. Captain Chris and his crew were exemplary.
