This last cruise we had was our 10th cruise with Royal Caribbean. We rarely have any problems when we cruise with Royal Caribbean. My wife and I really enjoyed the balcony room. We enjoyed being able to sit outside to enjoy the quiet and look for dolphins. All of our meals in the main dining room and windjammer were always great. We had dinner once at Jamie’s Italian Restaurant, and that was great also. There was always something to do everyday. There were also some good concerts and musicals. I think the only bad parts of the cruise is that the elevators are hard to get, and when you get one, it’s usually full. The other bad part of any cruise is they’re not long enough. We shopped at Majesty Jewelers at the Harbor Cruise Terminal in St. Maarten, and Charlie was very helpful to my wife when she was trying to find something special for our upcoming wedding anniversary. We looked in other jewelry stores, and always ended up coming back to Majesty Jewelers at the Harbor Cruise Terminal in St Maarten. St. John’s beach in Antigua was beautiful. It rained in St. Lucia. We walked around and shopped in St. Kitts(not sure about beaches). In San Juan, we walked around Old San Juan during the San Sebastián Festival and looked for souvenirs and then went to Senior Frogs for lunch.

Difficult to describe how wonderful the whole trip on the ship was because not a single thing went wrong or was a letdown! EVERYTHING worked according to the plan and actually far better than we expected. We experienced one delightful moment after another. The food was simply marvelous, the activities plentiful, the evening show “one of a kind” etc. The staff were so attentive to all the details for our comfort and pleasure. The ports and beaches were fantastic. This might have been our first cruise, but we had the experience and help of several people who combined, had well over 100 cruises under their belts and were familiar with all the details. They “prepared” us for this journey and yet could not have conveyed half of it; the experience was so much more sublime. Thank you Anthem of Seas.

My wife and I decided to spend the money for the grand loft suite star class on Anthem of the seas. Hefty price tag but first ever cruise for the family we wanted to do it right. When considering the price remember what is included in the price. Unlimited drink package, unlimited internet for 4 devices, all inclusive specialty dining, full laundry service ( having no clothes to wash when you get home is awesome!) And then there is the Royal Genie. Never had anything like that and did not know what to expect. In short, Awesome. Derick is a mind reader! He absolutely took all of the stress off of vacation. He did it all! Want to see a show...Done seats reserved snacks and drinks waiting for you. Specialty restaurant last minute...done. Behind the scenes tours, bridge, shows etc... done. But the absolute best part! He was just an awesome person! he made our entire family feel so welcome. Between Derick and the team at the coastal kitchen we are absolutely sold on Royal Caribbean. I am sure other cruise lines are wonderful as well but I doubt they will get a chance from us being that Derick, (Royal Genie) Jenie, Joe, Indy, Iputo, and the rest of the gang at coastal kitchen completely won us with customer service! We did not meet anyone that was not great on board but these guys really made the trip special. ( Also Jesus and Hani the room attendants!) Bottom line if you do the math the star class is more expensive, with all the inclusion it may not completely make up the price difference. but the absolute zero stress more than makes up for it! Just the embarkation/Disembarkation process is worth a ton! If you are considering it I say do it. One major consideration, you will be ruined for cruising any other way.
