A fantastic day, an unforgettable experience! It was the most beautiful day of our entire holiday in Zanzibar. We will never regret doing it! But time passed so quickly! The animals are so well treated, happy and healthy which is great! It was easy to see that there was a wonderful relationship between the caretakers and the animals.
It was very easy to book my trip on their website. I warmly recommend this place to all those who love animals! 🥰

It's a 20 minute boat ride from Stone Town to this small island.
Surrounded by clear blue waters, this once fever hospital now attracts tourists to marvel at its old ruins and to see the giant tortoises who now inhabit its shores.

One of the most beautiful and perfect beaches on Zanzibar and in my opinion top 10 in the world.

The water or crystal clear and the temperature is perfect. The only negative is the hawkers trying to sell you something every 2 minutes min stop.

for me the best beach in Zanzibar - white sand, excellent wind for kitesurfers, even if there is low tide you easily go for a walk far away of the shore, great hotel and good prices of hotels and restaurants

Kendwa and Nungwi on Zanzibar have the most beautiful beaches and crystal clear warm seas which are amongst the best in the world BUT they are marred by the constant harassment of tourists by the locals and the ‘Maasai’ who seek to exploit visitors. The worst incident being that of parading captive monkeys to attract the ignorant and exploit them for money. Tourists should be wise to the exploitation of wildlife and not encourage this practice.

Do as little or as much as you like. Just laze on the beach, or haggle with the locals over the arts and crafts they want to sell you. We regularly went to the bar on the jetty for some afternoon cocktails.

Cathedral Stone town is impressive due to its history .
The slave statues and cellars where slaves were kept in is really something mankind should learn from .

Between the fort and the sea are the gardens. Tidy with plenty of shade and a children's play area. Plenty of seats under the leafy canopy to sip and cold drink and relax in the shade.
This place comes alive at night when the night market arrives, plenty of stalls selling food, gifts and goods.
