What travelers are saying
- JJWFishkill, United States16 contributionsGreat place for everyone. Lots of space to walk around, run, explore, relax, enjoy the scenery. It's an oasis in the middle of the city, makes you feel like you're out in the wilderness, yet you're right by all kinds of restaurants and downtown happenings.Written March 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jimMount Dora, FL4 contributionsMy primary reason to visit was to see the Red Panda which are my favorite animal. It was a Red Panda overload in a good way with 4 red pandas on display and out eating their morning meal. Looks like 2 of them are recent babies and were so adorable. They all stayed out active for quite a while.
They have quite a few animals that have babies on display which says a lot about their animal program and the SSP- survival species program.
You can feed a giraffe if you want. The lions were their usual lazy selves and sleeping. It is a nice little zoo that has good animals for the size of the zoo.Written October 23, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. However, tours for groups of 10 or more, and special events provide available viewing of selective and remarkable works on display in varied locations. Reservations are necessary, but easily arranged. I look forward to once again viewing their unique collection of sacred art when their own building opens in downtown Greenville which is growing, thriving, and among the best places to live and visit in the USA.Written January 31, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - abcjjlEasley, SC1,618 contributionsAttended the Pentatonix concert on a recent December Monday evening. Show was to start at 7:00pm per the ticket information. Did not get started until around 7:40pm. No opening act. We had good seats in the lower bowl on the left side of the stage. Do not like floor seats as, depending on the concert, you may have to stand if the folks in front of you decide to do so.
Stopped to pick up a bottled water for the wife and an employee came over and said that, if I understood her correctly, Pentatonix had requested the caps on any drinks sold be removed after the sail and given to her for disposal. I said thanks and did not buy the drink. Who wants to keep up with an open bottled water for a whole show. It was obvious by the water that we saw spilled all over the floor as we were leaving the concert lots of people struggled with this. Oh well, they lost the sale saving me over $4 for a 15 cent bottled water.
Show was good. The arena handled the crowd fine. Was announced as a sell out by Pentatonix during their performance.
Found nearby on the street parking nearby so we were able to scoot out of downtown for a quick getaway from the crowd after the show. I will never understand why anyone would park in the adjacent garages to get to deal with the mass exodus after the end of an event.Written December 19, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Michael FMyrtle Beach, SC1,395 contributionsThis park is in a great setting on the foothills of the Smokies. The Great Lake as you drive in and the welcoming visitor center are so much fun to see and learn about history of this area. For outdoorsy people this is a must see.Written March 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Terry BMauldin, SC539 contributionsWe have been to this venue several times to enjoy plays. The seating is a little cramped as it's a small theatre, but still enjoyable. The drinks are a little over priced, but a theatre in downtown Greenville, what do you expect? Overall a good place to go and enjoy a play and a good evening.Written October 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
