Highly recommend a quick stop, easy walk to the beach to go down to the ocean and look at the huge majestic rock!

When we were in town the weather was quite rainy windy and cold however it didn't take away from the views this park provides. Looking down on the beach as the large waves rolled in and the storm clouds came in over the top really just added to our visit. This park really is beautiful and is quite a gem whether it be at the view point, Indian Beach or looking at the large moss covered trees that surround the road. While not a large park, the views that it provides are enormous.

The Hallmark Resort is located directly in front of Haystack Rock. Perfect location, easy walk to beach, weather was in the 60s and sunny blue skies, no crowds, great eats and comfortable bed.

We had so many "favorite" things we did during our time in Oregon, but genuinely Hug Point may have been the favorite. It was a total unplanned stop, we just overheard someone say it was really cool and decided to check it out.
Man, I am glad we did. If you have young kids, you absolutely have to come out to Hug Point. There are so many little waterfalls, tide pools, caves, swirly sand formations and more to explore. You could spend days here exploring all there is to see and not see it all. One of my absolute favorite stops along the Oregon Coast.

Stopped here to smell the oregon coastal ocean breeze. The sun was shining all day on our ride in the convertible with the top down.

Very much worth a visit. The owner/artists do a great job of explaining things. The glass works available for sale are impressive.

I have come here for years and the timing was never right to catch a play. This time we did and what a wonderful, fun and entertaining evening. The actors clearly enjoyed what the were doing. There isn’t a bad seat in the house. Intimate and close to stage. Well done!

The drive to the beach has priceless scenery. Very short walk down to it and it was very kid friendly for playing in the sand and the tidal pools were neat. Will definitely stop here again.

Can't miss an opportunity to take a picture of a lighthouse! This one you view from land. It is now a abandoned and is a wildlife refuge.

We were staying across the street at the Surf Sand so we walked over to this market. There were about 30 vendors selling things like gluten-free bread and pastries, trail mix, tea, etc. There were lots of things that were fun to try while we were on vacation. Definitely worth stopping by. I wouldn't drive far out of my way to go here, though -- it wasn't THAT good.

On our way home, we drove past what looked like a farmer's market in Seaside on Wednesday. From a quick peak, it was almost all the same vendors.

Whenever we visit Cannon Beach, we drop into this gallery to see photographs by one of our favorite artists, Christopher Burkett. There's other beautiful art on display. The owners, husband and wife, are very knowledgeable about their resident artists and are glad to share stories and time with you. The artwork is not inexpensive or whimsical. However, if you're looking for a special piece of art - photograph, sculpture, etc. - be sure to stop in. Or, if you just want to look at beautiful and relatable art, this is the place.

Beautiful land and seascapes, primarily of northern Oregon coast. Really like the Oriental touch in some.
