Wonderful, sandy beach with both shade and sun. Smooth entry into lake. Good sized parking lot. Close to Winnepesaukee Pier.

This was a gem in the rough. The curator gave us an A1 tour of the facility with a complete explanation of its history and how it evolved over years. The displays were well maintained and gave a detailed description of how the socks were made. I would highly recommend this as an attraction if you are in the Laconia area.

I did a glass blowing class with 2 friends. We really enjoyed it. We would definitely go back and try a different class. There are a variety to chose from.

Played mini golf on a rainy day. Very impressed with the set up to get clubs and balls! They have many video games and skee ball too but was very crowded and loud. Food prices were very reasonable!

Huge, diverse collection of antiques, truly something for everyone. A good way to spend some time. Don't miss the trains upstairs on Saturdays!

This is a tough to find park. GPS left us just short of the entrance and, ironically enough, when I pulled off a little further up the road to get my bearings, I noticed the sign for the park. Like mentioned before, the park is at the end of a dirt road with some dips. Parking is not too easy to find. But once near the water, the place was pretty quiet and scenic. Good place to sit, read, and relax. No restrooms.

Our last day up here just happened to be the first day of this bike show. So we walked around for a while and watch the bikes go by and they had a few stands set up this year. I guess normally it's a lot bigger than what is going on this year but what we saw of it was really nice. I bet the riding
    out here is really nice.

The Winnipesaukee Pier had that 1960's,70's feel with the little ice cream, doughnut and sandwich shops as well as the large game room. At the end was Anthony's Pier restaurant that had fantastic views of the mountains, Lake Winnipesaukee and Weirs Beach. The had boat rentals as well as Tiki Hut rentals and tours.

My experience at The Lakeport Opera House was the best night I've had in my 18 years of being a resident on the Lakes Region. Would highly recommend to anyone- they have shows for all ages. I went to 2 shows, ABBA and Frank Sinatra. Both nights left me speechless. From the beautiful vibe and environment of the theater to the incredible staff/ service, my summer nights at the Opera House was truly unforgettable. The drinks were delicious and they have such a fun cocktail menu. There's not a bad seat in the house and even the tickets were inexpensive compared to my $200 nosebleeds at Fenway. The Opera House is a timeless venue. The only problem is how quickly they sell out of tickets because of limited seating, I hope they add more to get us through the fall and cold winters here.

Can't say much else about the facility other than it had 4 very nice softball fields. Was there with our team for a weekend tournament and played all of our games there. Walked down to the beach once during a break. It looked nice. There was plenty of parking at the nearby school also.

Nothing overly special, just another monument, which is the reason for the average rating. The main attraction is really the excellent beach that is Endicott Rock Park where the Endicott Rock can be seen.
Note parking at the park is $10, or you can get nearby meter parking on the street for only 25 cents per 30 minutes.
