What travelers are saying
- N0rCal_2010Northern California39 contributionsHad some down time and walked through this area. It's an interesting throw back in time area. Next time I'm in Yreka and have more time, I'll explore further.Written June 20, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RhondaEtna, CA24 contributionsThis is a nice local museum. If you visit, be sure to also check out the outside exhibits which includes a number of old buildings and some old mining equipment at the very back.Written November 5, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DoctorDerm1Winter Springs, FL275 contributionsWe first went to Subway in town and bought some subs. Then we drove to this park and found some quiet picnic tables overlooking the lake, near the parking lot. Such a peaceful lunch! Love all the geese and other water birds landing on the lake. The short trail to the picnic tables was paved which made it accessible for my father who walks with a walker.Written September 14, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Was able to run a couple miles on the track, thanks! And good coffee shop on the Main Street ( forgot the name)Written July 30, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is a reminder that it was immigrants from Asia, too, who built America.
Note: Tripadvisor's map showing the location of the cemetery is wrong by about a mile. The actual location is east of that shown on the map, under the I-5 underpass, through a set of lights and up a hill. You will see a gazebo on your left about .2 miles from the lights. That's it.Written December 20, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Sure wish they had a close smoking area and much better filtration.Written November 4, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Johnny WishboneSacramento, CA54 contributionsWe've been working in this town for a month now. We finally decided to give this place a try. I'm glad we did, as the food was very good as well as the service.
I was in the mood for soup and salad and honestly didn't much look at the rest of the menu. I wish I had because it's really hard to find information about what this place serves. I called ahead to ask and was told that they don't have a website and was referred to their facebook page. I personally despise facebook and I can't imagine trying to operate a successful business without a website. It's a mistake in this reviewer's opinion. Anyway, the soup was excellent as was the salad. The portions were quite large.
If I am in Yreka again, I will definitely be back.Written February 22, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
