What travelers are saying
- Joanna S2 contributionsWe recently visited (at the end of August) with our two boys, aged 12 and 14. We didn't book, but there was no need to. We were given a 3 hour time slot and everything was explained to us in perfect English. We were told that the hardest courses can take an hour/hour and a half to complete. The boys had an amazing time on some of the medium level courses and we will definitely we back next year to try the harder levels.
They only take cash payments and sell a few drinks and snacks only (crisps and chocolate). There is only one toilet (composting). It is recommended to remove all valuables from your car as the car park is a little walk from the centre.
All in all we would definitely recommend a visit. Great value for money!Written September 2, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The stairs take a bit of climbing, but the view is completely worth it.Written October 1, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - cmc75Deep River, CT57 contributionsJust visited this amazing brewery. It’s located in a large building, which allows them space to create many types of beer. We were a small group and the owner gave us his full attention and an excellent tour.
We sampled 5 or 6 beers from larger to stout, they were all delicious!
Wish they were available in the US!Written October 18, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Certainly not worth a visit on its own merits but a pleasant enough stroll to the musical fountain which itself was… equally ‘OK’.Written June 28, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Snickets156 contributionsBeautiful bridge which has been cleverly linked to the city centre by a walkway that runs from the cathedral down to the river. It’s lovely to watch the river without worrying about traffic and the view back up to the heights of the city is very imposing and impressive. Well worth the walk.Written June 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Inspire2696563 contributionsWe visited the Polygone shopping outlet during our time in the area in August 2018 and found it to have lots for all. The fish ponds, small playground and the carousel ensured the little ones had some things to interest them, which shopping does not, but the older kids were kept entertained for hours vising the shops, organising their own lunches and spending their holiday money on worthwhile things rather than squandering it. There is a great range of shops, some real bargains in good brands, and plenty of eateries to choose from, but the biggest disappointment was the parking . Beware how expensive this is for those who do not reside in France, regardless of how much you have spent in the shops. They offer deals for the French, but as visitors from England we really wished we had parked in the town rather than the shopping centre itself.Written October 8, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Curleytops79West Midlands, UK29 contributionsAbsolutely fantastic and free!
We arrived early thinking the park close by would be open but it closed at 8. We parked free on the street leading up to the lights. If you have time to look around get there a bit early as bezier is beautiful and a walk to the cathedral is definitely worth doing.
The light show is absolutely gorgeous and definitely worth a visit. My kids loved it, I think I loved it more!Written August 8, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We read about this when we booked and have been looking forward to it since . If a beautiful woodland setting near a river you arrive and park very easy. Free. The family hear are very lovely and passionate about their business . You basically pay for what you catch , the rid and hate are free. There are two pools one harder than the other , it's lovely to see the kids easily catching fish and getting excited about catching their dinner. There's a nice cafe with trophies in which is nice. We are in support of these sort of businesses and it's something really different . Well done and thanks for making our day very special.Written August 2, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Xurxo GCounty Dublin, Ireland212 contributionsA castle in the middle of the French vineyards with an amazing weather, great hosts, exceptional food and wine, and an incredible blue swimming pool... If you want to feel like a Hollywood star for a few days go to Chateau de Raissac! And we didn't go to the winery visit but we will come back for that!
