There is more to the house than at first appears, it has many rooms, model railway exhibitions, a superb tea room with the most genial of hosts and plenty of walks for those that wish to partake.
The pirate trail very cleverly guided you round the gardens and the children enjoyed the barefoot walk, mud kitchen and the large tree that had fallen and was perfect for climbing.
